Guided tours are one of the educational pillars of any museum institution. FAB focuses such visits on the experience of art, following the advice of Confucius: “I hear and I forget; I see and I remember; I do and I understand”. It is not enough to explain to children and
young people what the Foundation is, or who Eduard Arranz-Bravo is. Pupils need to hear and see, but also to experiment with the feelings or concepts that they see or hear about. For this reason, visits are divided into two clearly distinct parts: in the first part, we observe and study works from the Arranz-Bravo Collection; and in the second we organise a workshop to reinforce, in a practical way, some of the concepts we have discovered in the exhibition room. FAB currently organises three types of workshop-visits, with the following titles: Psychic Automatism- How does Arranz-Bravo Works?, Identity; and Big Ideas for Small Sculptures.
