In 1973, the Sala Gaspar of Barcelona commissioned Arranz-Bravo with the task of creating his first bronze sculptures. He later undertook much larger works using various materials such as marble, ceramics and especially bronze, the most spectacular of these pieces being the El Pont de la Llibertat (The Bridge of Freedom).

The welcomer , 1985 (L’Acollidora)

The bronze sculpture of The Welcomer is located on the Rambla Just Oliveres of L’Hospitalet, and 24 years after its creation it has become the symbol of the city.
A series of a smaller version was manufactured for important persons, one of which is in the collection of the Arranz-Bravo Foundation. -
